"COOKIE CRISP" Available for Adoption at "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services"

Shelter ID: 106465 Breed:  American Pit Bull Terrier

spayed female 1yr 7 mth adoption fee $210

Description: A happy and bright hello from Pineapple! Pineapple is a young and energetic American Pitbull Terrier who is looking for a home that understands her breed and her energy level. At just under 2 years of age, Pineapple still is an energetic young dog who loves games, puzzles, and physical exercise. That doesn't mean she doesn't also enjoy a good cuddle on the couch, but would really like a home that understands that brain games and physical exercise are both exhausting, and are something she really would love. Pineapple would thrive with positive reinforcement training, and is a very treat motivated lady, too! If you are an active household, Pineapple is waiting!

1) Pineapple would do best in a home that has experience with her breed and is excited about giving her plenty of mental and physical enrichment like playing fetch (she loves ball!), puzzle feeders, treat puzzles, and training.

2) We don't know how Pineapple would be with cats or small animals, but she may be too energetic for many feline friends. If you do have cats or other small animals, be sure to discuss proper introductions with your adoption counselor to ensure they can be good housemates.

3) Pineapple has been dog friendly here at the shelter! Pineapple would likely do best with a male dog who is a a more go-with-the-flow type personality, but still willing to play!

4) Do to her energy level and size, Pineapple would do best in a home that has older kids or is an adult only home.
