Howdy partner, Woody here! I'm a sweet mixed breed puppy looking for a perfect new home to spend my days playing with you and making you laugh. I'm very active and would love to hike or run with you! I can get a bit excited and will jump up at times and take treats a little too enthusiastically. I need a home where kids are 5 years or older because I can be a bit possessive of my food. I think with a little training and lots of fun we can be best of friends! Did I mention that you're my favorite deputy?
My adoption fee is $300

Heyyyyyyyyy, I'm Chad. A fun and playful young guy looking for my new home. I am still learning, and at times when I get excited I jump up and nip at your clothes, or try and play with your arms. I respond well to treats though, and am eager and willing to learn! I do know sit, down, and shake. I think working with a trainer would be a great way for us to bond and for me to become the best pup I can! I am a big goofball, love belly rubs, and playing with toys! Have you seen my ears?! They haven't decided which way they want to go or stand yet.
There will be a sign up sheet for my adoption on 12/30 at 11 AM. My adoption will be on a first come, first serve basis and you must be present when the shelter opens at 12 PM to be considered to adopt me! I am 6 months old so I won't count for the adoption special. My adoption fee will be $300.

Meet Dixie, a sweet and sensitive dog looking for just the right home. She is very friendly with her family, and has lived with other dogs and with cats. She is reportedly potty trained, and will need a home with a yard or potty area only a short walk away. Due to possible rear-end issues, Dixie should not be walked for long distances or in busy parts of town. She would like a quiet, low-activity home to rest in. Dixie is not suited for apartment living. Adult-only family or older children recommended. If your home/family sounds like a good match for a sweet lady dog with lots of love to give, come meet Dixie!

Hi I'm Roger! I am a petite young lab-pit mix. Since I am a young guy I have plenty of energy for walks and play! I am a smart cookie too; I have learned a lot in foster care using reward-based training methods. Not to toot my own horn but: I am potty trained, know most of my basic obedience, can be left alone for 6-7 hours (with toys to keep me busy of course!) ride in a crate in the car, know a couple of tricks like "touch" and "roll-over", I am learning to walk nicely on-leash, I love games, toys and playing, and love to spend time with adults. I am still young and learning some manners like not to jump on people when excited but I am well on my way!
I do showtimes show fear of new environments, dogs and some people when on leash. My foster home has worked with me a lot to feel more comfortable in those situations and I have learned awesome skills for when I see distractions that scare or excite me. I will need a little patience from my new family as we continue to build my confidence together. I am looking for a home with adults only.
If you are ready to meet this handsome guy, please email his foster mom at renod120105@gmail.com

I am Sherman, a dog that is really happiest being where my people are. I would love nothing more than the curl up by you for pets or trot along with you on short walks. I love to chase after tennis balls. I want to be the only pet in an adult only home due to some resource guarding and handling sensitivity. Sometimes I had a hard time meeting visitors in my previous home. The adoption counselors will talk discuss ways to help me meet visitors. Adopters should consult their veterinarian about an appropriate diet and exercise program as I needs to lose some weight.
I am in a different area of the shelter taking a break. Please ask to meet me!

Sherman is now 40 lbs heavier than this :(

Pecan walks nicely on leash but isn't always the most confident girl. If she sounds like a good fit for your family, come meet her today. Pecan will need to be the only animal in the home.

Hi there, I'm Mikah! A fun and energetic lady looking for a new home with an experienced dog-handler. I love to play with tennis balls and toys. I'm also super smart and know cues like "sit", "shake", and "down". I walk well on leash, plus I'm crate trained! Because I like to bounce and I'm big, the shelter recommends kids 5 & up if there are kids in my next family. I will need to be the only dog, and I would also benefit from classes to help me be more comfortable and sociable near other dogs. Come by to meet me if we sound like a good match!

Angel and Arthur
"These 2 are the sweetest cuddly pair! I sat with them in their kennel a few times and they just wanted to be next to me. Arthur is 104 pounds and a lap dog! Angel just lays on her back wanting belly rubs! Whoever adopts these 2 hits the jackpot!"
 Mcas Volunteer

Introducing Arthur and Angel! We are a loving bonded pair who are always prepared for a marathon - as long as it is a movie marathon. While Arthur is more active and playful than Angel there is nothing we love more than a cozy, warm bed and some good company. We can discuss our favorite foods while you give me pets, belly rubs and attention. I promise to provide you with lots of laid-back love and friendship if you save me a spot on the couch - or at least a super cozy bed on the floor next to you! The only thing better than one new family member is two. Angel does have some mobility issues that an adoption counselor can go over with you about more in depth. It would be best for her to be in a house without a lot of stairs! Come meet us today
