Lucky here. I'm a handsome older Lhasa Apso fella looking for the perfect retirement home. I like going for leisurely trots and taking in all the wonderful smells I can find! I seem to enjoy some toys but only in short bursts and mostly just want a quiet place I can relax. I'm sure I'd be a great movie marathon buddy! I sometimes am sensitive with having my face and feet touched so I need a home where any kids are 5 years or older. Come and meet me today!

Hi there, I'm a 5 month old puppy looking for my new home. I am a sweet and playful pup that is learning the ropes still. I think puppy social classes, and training classes will be fun to go together! Like most puppies my age, I jump up and use my mouth, and will need help being potty trained!
There will be a sign up sheet for my adoption outside the shelters front doors at 10 AM 11/3/2019. My adoption will be on a first come, first serve basis, and you must be present when the shelter opens at 11 AM.

Norman, male Lop, 6 mths, 6 lbs

Meet Norman! I'm a young 6 month old Lop mix looking for an experienced rabbit owner. I am nervous here and a bit defensive so I will need your help building my confidence and relating people to good things. Since a rabbits teeth grow continuously, they have a natural need to chew. Norman is especially fond of chew toys, fresh greens (esp basil) and loves to shred newspaper - you will want to have a good supply of appropriate chew toys for him. Young rabbits seem to explore the world with their teeth and can be diverted from chewing the wrong things by being provided with the right things, you will also want to take extra care when bunny-proofing his area for safety.

Glenda, female bunny rabbit mix, 1 yr 8.4lbs
here's my Mcas weblink
199072
Glenda is a friendly and fairly social bunny. She seems to like attention and does not mind being picked up gently or even held on your lap. She has been around people and knows when humans are around good things happen, like their favorite treats. Glenda would be a good rabbit for a first time bunny owner. She usually uses her litter box but has the occasional accident when out playing.
Sugar, female bunny rabbit mix, 1 yr, 7.68 lbs

My name is Mr. Wiggles. I am one happy boy and when my tail wags the rest of my body just follows along. My favorite hobby is exploring and I love to sniff. I am looking for an active home that will give plenty to do and help me learn some basic manners. Maybe you have a job for me? I would love to play hide & seek, go for a run, or learn to search for things like toys & treats. If you can keep me mentally and physically stimulated, we will have a lot of fun and I will be your loving friend forever. If there are kids in my new home they should be at least 8 years old and sturdy as I tend to jump on people.

HEY HEY! I'm Aleu, a sweet, fun, and goofy girl looking for my new home. I just think life is great, I am always happy and playful! I do sometimes jump up or get mouthy when I'm excited, but if you have food I learn quickly not to! I love belly rubs, give lots of kisses, and get the zoomies when excited! If you have been looking for a fun dog to add to your life, I am your girl! The shelter is recommending I go home with kids 5 and up because I can be a bit jumpy at times, but it is not a deal breaker if your kids can handle me! I do need a home with no small animals though. Ask to meet me today!

Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!
Adoption information
MCAS hours/ Location

Yankee, male Husky, 2 yrs 76 lbs
 here's my Mcas weblink  Adopted!

I am Yankee, a fun loving and energetic Husky mix. Dogs like me love to get out and play but are not always sure what to do with our mouths. I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together. I am eager to learn and can't wait to show you how smart I am! Due to my jumpy and mouthy behaviors, the shelter is recommending that any kids in the home be over the age of 12 years. I will also need a cat and chicken free home. Come and meet me today so we can get started on an awesome training plan together.

Midnight, female Lab mix

My name is Midnight, a sweet exuberant girl looking for my new home! I can be a bit shy at first, but when I warm up I am playful, and love belly rubs! I still am learning my manners though I already know sit and shake. I need help remembering it isn't polite to jump up on people, or use my mouth when I get excited. I respond well to positive reinforcement. I can be a bit vocal at times, but I just want you to know I love you! It is recommended I go home with kids 8 and up.
