"EMMA" black Lab HAPPY ADOPTION UPDATE!

EMMA Happy Adoption Update!   Mar 2020

" I was just going through Emma's file and came across your business card. Emma is doing amazing. She is still full of energy, but that's what we love about her. She is also one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. She and Lily, are truly sisters and adore one another. We recently got another corgi. She and Emma have had some boundary issues, but mostly get along. I am so happy that I found her at the shelter. She needed love, patience, room to run and puppy friends."  Melanie S

Hi new potential family! My name is Emma, a 8 month old Black Lab. I am an energetic lady looking for an energetic family that can keep up with me! Do you like to hike? Great! I would make an excellent hiking partner. Do you like to run? Even better! I would make an excellent running buddy! I also REALLY like to fetch, and will fetch anything from squeaky toys to tennis balls. Did I mention I have a lot of energy!? My ideal family will continue my positive rewards based training, and understand that I will NOT be a couch potato. Sure, I'd love to Netflix and chill once I am tired, but I am also a young pup, and will get into mischief when I get bored. You know what they say, a tired dog is a happy dog! I am a bit jumpy, so any smaller children under the age of 5 should come meet me before going home with me to make sure they can handle my energy level, and any canine pals should come in to meet me as well!  8 mths, 50 lbs and growing.

I am Bailey, a nice little gentleman. I like playing tug, but don't be alarmed if I get talky and play growl, it's just my way of telling you I'm having a good time. I also like playing fetch and will drop the toy by you, push it towards you with my nose and bark to let you know I'm ready for you to throw it again. I'm so irresistible, that I will keep you busy playing and make you laugh with my antics. I will need regular grooming and ear care to be my very best.

I am Hank, an active and playful Labrador. You could call me the hands-on type but since I do not have hands I learn with my mouth. To an exuberant dog like me everything is a game, sometimes I just get so excited I will jump up and grab the first thing that looks like a toy. I am up for anything and ready to amaze my new family with my skills. I am looking for a family who does not take life too seriously that will be patient and positive. The shelter is recommending that any kids in the home be over the age of 8 years due to my mouthy behaviors. I am also a big conversationalist and may not be best for apartment life. Please come and meet me today!

202401
I am Lexi, an active and playful German Shepherd. Once I get to know you, I like pets and if you're not giving me enough, I will nuzzle your hands for more and sometimes I just get so excited I will jump up. I know how to sit, shake, and down. My favorite thing is a tough squeaky toy or tennis ball. In fact, I like it so much that I might not want to share it with anyone. The shelter recommends teaching me to trade for a really good treat or better yet another toy. I am sensitive about having my collar touched so adopters should avoid grabbing my collar. If there are kids in my new home, the shelter is recommending that they be at least 8 years old due to some handling sensitivity and mild resource guarding.

I don't have any teeth so my adopter won't need to worry about brushing my teeth. don't think that doesn't mean I can't eat though. I am really happiest being where my people are. I would love nothing more than the curl up on your lap or trot along with you on short walks. If you are seeking a relaxed and easy-going friend to keep you company through your life, then I am the dog for you! Through thick and thin, I will be by your side.

"CARLA" a cruisin hamster

Adoption information
MCAS hours/ Location

Carla, female hamster
 here's my Mcas weblink
205270
Carla is an adult female hamster who's quite set in her ways. She prefers to cruise around in her ball over being handled. Because she is not used to being held, children in Ms. Hamstortelli's home need to be over 12years old. When left to her own devices, Carla will keep herself entertained. We recommend a larger cage set up where you can watch her be cute yet sassy as you make friends with her. Adoption does not include current cage.

Snuggling is my middle name, I enjoy short walks on the beach (or from the couch to the fridge) and would make a great Netflix buddy. What's that you say? You've been meaning to watch the new Netflix release? Well I'm right there with you! I have some medical needs that an adoption counselor can discuss with you further. Swipe Right! I will need to be the only animal in the home and no small children please.

Hi Pippi here! A fun and energetic girl that loves booty rubs, my toys, and walks! I also love to give kisses! It would definitely be beneficial to me to get into some training classes to become a more refined pup, because I do pull on leash a little and jump up when I am excited. If you are an active home that is searching for a buddy, search no further! The shelter is recommending I go home with kids 5 and up due to how jumpy I am, but it is not required! I do need to be the only dog in the home.

She has obviously been around people and knows when humans are around, good things happen, like their favorite treats and snacks! With her gentle nature, velvety coat and doe-like features Lola would be a perfect rabbit for a first time bunny owner. She consistently uses her litter box but will leave a small amount of "scenting" pellets when out playing.

Here at the shelter I am a bit of a cautious canine with a dash of clown thrown in once I feel comfortable. After we're acquainted, I would love nothing more than to curl up by you, trot along on walks or entertain you with my antics. I don't like being petted on the neck or head but love having my bum scratched. When I loosen up I like to play bow and will smoosh myself up next to you for pets. If there are kids in my new home the shelter recommends that they are 8 & up due to my fearfulness and handling sensitivity.

My name is Nova and am a very sweet lady that's looking for a new family. I have been a little shy here at the shelter, but am quickly coming out of my shell. It's very apparent that I've had quite a few litters of puppies, but I'm done with that now and ready to spend the rest of my days relaxing and enjoying life with my new family. I can be sensitive to some handling and a little mouthy at times, so if you have kids in the home, it is recommended that they are over the age of 5 years. Please come and meet me today!

My name is Liam and I'm looking for a new family! I am a sensitive boy that enjoys a good game of tug and regular exercise. My new family will need to use reward based training to help build my confidence. I am learning that the world isn't as scary as I originally thought, but will need continued positive interactions with new people and new environments. I think training classes will be a wonderful way for us to bond and help me with my fearful behaviors. The shelter is recommending that any kids in the home, be over the age of 5 years. Can't wait to meet my new family!
