Winston here! I'm a young and active German Shepherd fella looking for a home to call my own. You might have noticed my adorable ears and award-winning smile - I'm quite the handsome boy! I'm also VERY playful and love all the toys I've encountered so far. While I'm active and fun, I can also be fearful in new situations and it took me a bit to warm up here in the shelter. I need a home where any kids are 12 years or older, and everyone is willing to help me build confidence using positive, reward-based training. Come and meet me!

"Who is that masked dog?" My shelter name is Bandit. As you can see, I'm a good looking German Shepherd mix about 2 years old and I weigh around 55lbs. I may not have been out and about much so I'm uncertain here at the shelter. I want to be friends so people just need to allow me a little time to get to know them. I'm looking for a home that will use reward based training to boost my confidence so I can grow into a wonderful pet. If there are kids in my new home, they should be at least 12 years old.

Hello, I'm Oh-Jaay. A sweet but timid terrier mix lady looking for my new home. It takes me a little to warm up to new people, but when I do, I SURE am sweet. I will climb into your lap and shower you with kisses. I LOVE to go on walks, so if you've been looking for an active small dog I am your girl. My previous home said I wasn't too fond of kitties, so it would be nice for my new home to not have any. My new home should be prepared to do slow intros to new places and people, and take it slow with me until I build confidence! Big dogs seem to scare me, but I have been housed with small dogs in the shelter and have been great with them! If I seem like a good fit for you, please ask to meet me today!

 This little girl loves walks, and sniffing all the good smells.

                                  Loves cuddles with her friends...
                                She's not as fond of my camera :)

Meet Marty McFly. This young male Budgie is seeking a new home and would prefer one that already has parakeets or budgies in it so that once he settles in, he has friends to hang out with! Budgies are very smart & social, so having more than one is a good thing as they keep each other entertained and provide comfort to each other.

You can get in touch with me through the foster coordinator at foster@multco.us.
 Red here! I am a nervous lady who found herself without a home. I have been taking a break in a foster home and they have found out a lot about me! I am great with other dogs and even cats. I love my people but prefer a home with lower traffic from strangers. I am doing ok with the house training but can be sensitive to changes that throw off my routine. I love to sleep under the covers in a little ball and love a good lap snuggle from the people in my circle. Kids may be too much for me and I would love a home with kids over the age of 12 years please. In short, I am looking for someone with a warm lap to call my own and a great episode of Law and Order to watch without all the interruptions of visitors. If you think we might be a great fit ask about me today! You can get in touch with me through the foster coordinator at foster@multco.us.

OHMYGOSH HI! DO YOU HAVE ANY COOKIES?! My name is Diesel, I am a 3 year old loving and energetic Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix that weighs 59 pounds! Sometimes I can tend to get so excited I jump for the first thing I see, and the game is on! My ideal family will be active, patient and use positive training methods to help me become a more refined pup. I think working with a trainer would be a fun way for us to bond and learn together - I already know "sit" and would LOVE to learn more. Because I am so jumpy and hyper, sometimes I do not see where I am bouncing around and will need to go to a home with children 8 and up! I will need to go to a home with no other animals, I just want all the attention to myself!
 ====
(Maybe Diesel's Mcas website description needs an update.
Most of the time in the kennels/yards Diesel is quite a calm guy)

My name is Lily. I am shy here at the shelter, but once I get settled in a new home I will be a gem. I respond to baby talk with tail wags and bright eyes.
