Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!

Mcas weblink

My name is Eva and I have never met an activity I did not like! If you love exercise and keeping active, then we will be fast friends. I will go for a run in the morning, a hike in the afternoon, play fetch in the evening, and unwind with some play at home before bed - and I would love nothing more than to have someone who can keep up with me. It is important that I have an outlet for my boundless energy, so let us get together and explore the outdoors! I am a fearful girl that will need a patient and positive family that can help me blossom into the confident girl that is hiding inside. I will also need a feline free home, as I find kitties just a little too interesting. Please come and meet me today!

I'm Ralphy, a mellow older terrier mix fella searching for my own retirement home. I am really happiest being where my people are - though my second love is a fun toy. You should watch me pounce on a tennis ball! I would love nothing more than the curl up on your lap or trot along with you on walks. I don't hear very well and can be shy of people touching my head so I would need a home where any children are 5 years or older. If you are seeking a relaxed and easy-going friend to keep you company through your life, then I am the dog for you! Through thick and thin, I will be by your side.  8 yrs 20 lbs

=========
If this dog is appropriate for a home with children, you must bring children aged 12 and under to the shelter with you for the adoption process. Not all dogs and children are a perfect match, so we want to make sure that the dog you select is a family-friendly dog.
If you have one or more existing dogs in your home, we require a "meet and greet" between your dogs and the adoptive dog at our shelter. Please plan to bring your dog(s) with you before the adoption can be finalized so we can be sure that the dogs and the humans all agree this dog will be the perfect match for your family!

Adoptions are on a first-come first-served basis among approved applicants. We cannot hold pets, so when you are ready to select a pet, please come prepared.

Alabaster, male rabbit
weblink
161489
Alabaster is a sweet and friendly rabbit. He enjoys attention, solicits petting and does not mind being picked up gently or held. Alabaster has obviously been around people before arriving at the shelter and knows that when humans are around good things happen, like their favorite treats and fresh greens! He would be a good rabbit for a first time bunny owner. Alabaster is learning to use their litter-box consistently here at the shelter and should continue to do so in a home environment.
3 yrs 3 lbs

Pippin and Merry 3 month old bonded baby bunnies
ADOPTED!
Mcas weblink
152803
Pippin was brought to MCAS as a scared bottle baby bunny, along with his brother Merry. Like many animals they are happiest with all four feet firmly on the ground! He will permit handling but is anxious when being held. Pippin is the most curious of the pair and seems to always have things more important to do than be held (maybe saving Middle Earth). They are quite curious and like to be in the middle of everything, but are still learning that people aren't scary. It takes a little while for him to learn to trust, but once he trusts you, he trusts you for life. The more you practice picking them up gently the easier it will be for both of you. Pippin is bonded to Merry, AID# 152804 and they will need to go home together!

DEWDROP, female, 3 month old British Giant mix
Mcas weblink
157432
I am Dewdrop, a friendly British Giant mix who has been around cats and kids. Though I am social, I am not keen on being picked up or held. In my previous home I was allowed full run of a large shed and play time in a yard with my siblings so I am learning to use my litter box but have the occasional accident while out playing. I love to hop, jump and climb on things. I am a curious bunny who would be good for a new rabbit owner.

Pet Mice ( more pet mice are available at the shelter)

I cannot go home with cats. Watch me when I get excited - I prance like a rabbit! Think you've got the perfect fit for me? Come say hi today!  6 yrs 9 lbs
