Like many hound dogs, Elvis is  more attentive to you inside the house rather than out on a walk with all those new smells!

Elvis knows sit, down and shake and enjoys a good game of fetch and will be a great dog for someone willing to give him the time and attention needed in order to form a strong bond.  He needs some outdoor fenced area to be able to stretch out, zoom around and play fetch

I ain't nothin' but a hound dog! My name is Elvis and I'm ready for a new home. Like any self-respecting hound, I do like to follow my nose when we are out and about - maybe together we can sniff out some buried treasure! I know some commands and when I'm not using my nose, I like to focus on my people and make sure they feel loved. I haven't shown a lot of interest in other dogs thus far, and due to some sensitivity around my ears (I had an untreated ear infection until recently), I may do best in an adult home - but let's talk about that if you are interested and have children.
