We offer a 10% discount on adoption fees for dogs, to individuals who meet any of the following criteria:Seniors – aged 60 and up.....Military Veterans

For a fee of $50 for dogs and puppies, adopters may place a 24 hour hold on an available animal after completing an application. This fee is non-refundable, but may be applied to the adoption fee if the applicant finalizes an adoption for the animal. Holds are only valid for 24 hours. Please note that paying a hold fee does not guarantee approval of the adoption application.

"Ruger's been here 7 months, which means he's had plenty of time to perfect his "please adopt me" face. 

This handsome 3-year-old Rottweiler is loyal, sensitive, and ready for a real home. 

 

He needs experienced adopters who understand guardian breeds, a securely fenced yard to call his own, and patience while he settles in. What he gives back? Everything.

Ruger is a handsome 3-year-old Rottweiler with soft eyes, a big head, and a loyal heart. After spending his life outdoors, he’s ready for meaningful companionship and a home that understands guardian breeds.

Ruger will do best with experienced adopters who can offer calm, confident leadership, structure, and consistency. He’s a sensitive boy who bonds deeply and is still learning his manners, especially given his size and strength.

He loves other dogs and thrives with canine companionship—his ideal home includes at least one well-matched dog. Ruger enjoys being active and will benefit from regular exercise like long walks or hikes.

Ruger can be cautious around unfamiliar men and busy or noisy environments and does best when allowed to acclimate at his own pace. With time, patience, and kind guidance, he has the potential to become a wonderful, devoted companion.

All people and dogs in the home must meet Ruger prior to adoption. If you have guardian breed experience and are ready to invest in a special dog, Ruger is worth it.
