FARMER #180316 neutered male, 1 yr 10 mths 70lbs Breed: Mixed Breed
Breed: $I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.
Hi, I'm Farmer! I was quite nervous when I first got to the shelter, but with the help of my volunteer friends I'm coming out of my shell! I've been called "the all-around best boy." I love getting scritches and will roll around next to my people soaking up the love. I also love playing with toys and using all of the agility equipment. I've even been going to weekly nosework class and on packwalks with other shelter dogs. I'm a smart guy and learn fast for biscuits!
I'd love to go home with someone that can continue to help me build confidence, play with me and give me plenty of snuggles.
Here's what you need to know about me:
I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.
I may jump and play rough. I don't mean to, I just get really excited when I play!
I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.
It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.
I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor.
