"TOTTEE" 17 LB MIXED BREED **PERMANENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED "OLD DOG HAVEN - Western WA and Portland OR

 OLD DOG HAVEN FB  8/19/26

"Another senior has been added to our wait list. We'd love to bring her into our care as a permanent foster dog. Will you help us find a home to send Tottee to?
PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME NEEDED:
(located in W. Washington state or Portland, OR only)

"Tottee" is a spayed female, an adorable mixed breed who is currently overweight at 17 pounds. Her true age is unknown because she entered the shelter as a "stray".

Shelter staff tells us that Tottee is a friendly and easily managed
little girl. She is blind or very vision-impaired in a
new setting, and may not have great hearing. Despite that, she's happy
to be petted, picked up/carried around, and generally interact with
people.
We don't know how she does with dogs yet but remember that
blind dogs tend to bumble into other dogs' personal space at first so
can cause offense for the first few days. Things can work out amazingly quickly, however.
Her medical report was quite good with several small changes in
bloodwork - they just noted the obesity - and of course severe dental
disease. HOWEVER: she did seem to pick up kennel cough and will notbe safe to move into an Old Dog Haven home with other senior dogs until 8/17-20.

She is in a shelter foster home now, but we'd really like to find her a
spot ready to take her on when she is no longer contagious. Please let usknow if you would be available at that time - she really needs a home!
In the link below, you can learn more about how to join our network of forever foster homes. Tottee is on our wait list which means she would be an Old Dog Haven forever foster. Once a home for her is found, she will stay in that home for the duration of her life.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who donates to Old Dog Haven, all of Tottee's vet bills will be covered for life!
