"JINX" aka "RUSS" charming, chunky soft and sweet HUSKY "MCAS"

 UPDATE 1/25/25 ADOPTED!

 UPDATE 1/8/25  Transferred to OHS

Jinx likes toys, appears to be crate trained, loves attention, loves to cuddle, startles at loud noises, likes dogs

7 yrs 1 mth, 87 lbs (neutered male)

  • I love to be the center of attention. All eyes and pets on me, please!
  • I am a friendly, happy, silly fella who is sure to make you smile!
  • I really enjoy playing with toys! Plush toys are my favorite!
  • I know I am a big boy, but I sometimes forget my strength when I am so excited to go for walks. My friends say I am very responsive to training and getting better, and physical exercise is important for my health!
  • Helping me lose weight will allow me to live my best life!
  • I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
  • Resource Guarding: I have a history of guarding my people, food, toys and/or bedding from other animals or people.

The type of home I'm looking for:

  • I would flourish in an active home with plenty of outlets for my energy! Physical and Mental enrichment is a must!

Hi, I'm Jinx! I'm your typical chatty, energetic husky who's ready for a spot to play and call my own! I'd love a home that is ready for movement, keeping my body and my brilliant brain busy. I'm really treat motivated, so some snuffle mats, puzzle toys, and other forms of food-related enrichment could do me wonders! I also could do SO well with leash training to be your perfect walking companion with a treat pouch on your hip. Ask to meet me today!

my pic of Jinx back in June when I was still volunteering there. He weighed 30 lbs less.
