- I really enjoy the company of my human friends - and I did great with young kids in my last home!
- I'm a fiend for food! Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and teach me fun tricks.
- I know some basic cues, such as sit and shake!
- True to my hound dog roots, I am very talkative and will tell you what is on my mind!
- I love to be the center of attention. All eyes and pets on me, please!
- I'm very active and will need positive outlets for my energy.
- Mental enrichment activities are a great way to entertain me, work my brain, and provide an outlet for all of my energy!
- Giddy-up! The staff here call me a pony because I like to stand on my hind legs for easier access to pets.
- Escape Artist: I have a history of escaping doors or fences. I will need supervision when outdoors or we can go on adventures together - on leash of course!
- I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
- I came through the OHS Second Chance Program from the southern United States, where dogs have the highest likelihood of becoming infected with heartworm.
The type of home I'm looking for:
- I need a home without cats or other small animals.
