Adoption cost: $160.00

Animal ID 295038  10 yrs 11 months, 63 lbs

Hi, I'm Jagger! I'm a pup that's been around the block and back, meaning I'm a bit older than most of the dogs here. That doesn't make me any less loving! I'm ready for a nice, calm place to call my own! My history's pretty much a mystery, but I've been a lovely dog to all the humans here who have met me. I love leaning in for pets and a good scratch! Because I'm older, I may need my future family to be ready for any medical issues, both now and in the future. I also might need a little time, extra loves, and lots of encouragement for me to settle in and adjust, but I would become your best friend and cuddle buddy in time! Please consider adopting me and come meet me today!

Gulliver is a rambling pup of a 2 year old pittie - he has travelled around in his past life, and is ready to settle down in his forever home! This big boy came to the shelter injured, but has recovered beautifully and is ready to PLAY! Humans here say he's a friendly guy and easy to handle, though he's also a goofy-goober and enjoys hardcore zoomies! He will need outlets for his energy and curiosity every day. Because of his size, silly antics and personality, the shelter suggests kiddos in Gulliver's new home should be over the age of 12 so they can better understand each other. He would absolutely love to have a canine friend at home to play with since he really enjoys the company of other dogs and is a playgroup ROCKSTAR! Please come and meet him today and gain an adventure partner for life!

"HABANERO" IN FOSTER spicy little Chihuahua

 UPDATE 8/7/23 Adopted

"MARGE" is Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!
MCAS hours/ Location

Adoption cost: $160.00
License fee: $27.00 (Multnomah County residents only)

Animal ID 294616  1 yr 6 mths 10 lbs

This animal is in foster care! Apply to adopt them online! Meet Habanero, the spicy and adorable 1.5-year-old male Chihuahua! This little guy is looking for his forever person who can give him the love and security he needs to blossom into an even greater dog. Habanero is a smart pup who's already making progress in his potty training. He mostly goes pee and poop outside, but sometimes, accidents happen when the door is left open. However, his foster parent believes he's getting better, and with a bit more time and patience, he's likely to improve further. Habanero also has a tendency to mark inside, but it seems like this behavior is becoming less frequent as he becomes more comfortable in his surroundings. Once he reaches his full comfort level, the marking should likely stop altogether. One thing that's very clear about Habanero is that he chooses his people, and he's fiercely protective of them. If you become his person, you can expect a loyal and devoted companion who will keep a watchful eye on you and your shared space. Habanero is not only protective but also super cute and shows his excitement with a little happy dance. He's an easy-going and friendly dog who enjoys being around people and other dogs. He loves scratches and being a lap dog, so if you're seeking a cuddly companion, Habanero is the perfect fit. He'll be more than happy to join you on walks and adventures, always staying by your side through thick and thin. Although Habanero can be a little fearful of men initially, he warms up quickly with some gentle reassurance and positive interactions. With time, patience, and understanding, he will surely overcome his fear and become more confident around men. Habanero's foster parent is impressed by his willingness to work with them, even with the challenge of a curious puppy in the house. He's a great dog who deserves a loving home where he can feel safe, and cherished. If you think Habanero could be the perfect addition to your family, don't hesitate to reach out. He's eagerly waiting for his new home and can't wait to bring joy and love to your life. Apply to adopt Habanero today and make a new loyal friend!

"RUBY" IN FOSTER - doing well with the foster home dogs, sensitive, lovely, needs patient home

UPDATE 8/9/23 Adopted by foster home

"RUBY" is Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!
MCAS hours/ Location

Adoption cost: $160.00
License fee: $27.00 (Multnomah County residents only)

Animal ID: 284094,  female pitbull 2 yr 66 lbs

https://www.multcopets.org/adoptable/284094

This animal is in foster care! Apply to adopt them online! My name is Ruby. I was abandoned on the front door at the shelter and my history is unknown. I was very scared when I first arrived and am still quite fearful of new people and new environments. Once I feel comfortable, I am a very sweet lady that is super cuddly and sensitive. I will need a new home that can take things slow with me and show me that the world isn't such a scary place. I am not suitable for apartment living because I prefer some outside time, that's not to say I want to be outside all the time, I just need to have a fenced yard. Because I may not have spent much time inside where I came from, crate training is strongly recommended until we are all sure I understand the house rules. I have been responding very well to positive reinforcement training and would like to continue learning more things about the world around me. If you think we could make a great match, please come and meet me today!
