  • I am very cute but have proven myself to be quite the exuberant pup!
  • I love to be the center of attention. All eyes and pets on me, please!
  • High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
  • Bite History: I have a history of biting a person.
  • I am just a baby! I will need guidance and patience - plus regular play time with you! Taking a training class will help us bond and help me become a model canine citizen.

MACIE  UPDATE 3/12/25 ADOPTED

Available 2/12/2025   Animal ID #319337 adoption $400

"Looks like "Beagle" spayed female, 2 yrs 2 mths

Looking for a conversation partner? I'm quite a talkative lady.

  • I am a social butterfly in the shape of an adorable dog.
  • Giddy-up! The staff here call me a pony because I like to stand on my hind legs for easier access to pets.
  • Pucker up! I like to give kisses.
  • My friends at OHS are still learning about me. I was brought in through the Second Chance Program from a state where dogs have a higher likelihood of heartworm infection.
  • I have been diagnosed with ringworm . This will require continued treatment and isolation from other animals and children.
  • I would flourish in an active home with plenty of outlets for my energy! Physical and Mental enrichment is a must!
  • I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
  • My energy and size can be a lot for little kids, but I would do great with older, dog-savvy children.
  • I am still learning how to walk on leash, especially in new environments, as I like to talk and walk at the same time. I need verbal encouragement, patience and of course treats from you to help!
