How
would Wayne, our 22 pound 2 year old French Bulldog, do in an office?
He loves pee-mail and is always checking it and sending responses. But
Wayne would be happiest by the water cooler, befriending all his
coworkers and spreading some hot gossip. Although he'd show up to work
with a new outfit every day, he'd clock out early to take long naps.
Looks like Wayne is going to remain unemployed.
Wayne came to us
after having been found stray. The shelter asked us for help due to an
eye injury. It took several weeks of antibiotics, but Wayne just got the
all clear! Although he has a scar on his right cornea, he can see just
fine and doesn't need any medications.
Wayne loves all people.
Although we haven't seen him with kids, we suspect older respectful
children would be fine. Wayne is good with other dogs and would love to
go to a home with another playful dog. He's always trying to make
friends with the dogs he sees on leash. Wayne has been respectful to the
cats in his foster home. However, we suspect his eye injury was due to a
cat scratch. So it's possible Wayne can get up in a cat's business. For
that reason, Wayne would prefer to live with less-violent cats.
Potty-trained
and not destructive, Wayne is a pretty chill housemate. However, he
does like to be where ever his person is. So Wayne's adopter should be
prepared for a clingy dog with a loud snore. Like most French, Wayne
loves dressing up, snuggling, and walks (apologies to the French; we
didn't actually do any research to back that statement).
Wayne is
microchipped, neutered and current on his flea and heartworm
preventatives. Although admittedly adorable, French Bulldogs often come
with a list of challenges associated with being brachycephalic
(smushed). Wayne will struggle with strenuous exercise, heat, and stress
and is more prone to eye problems. His applicants should be prepared
for the extra work of having a dog like Wayne.
Need an unemployed, snoring, flirty blond in your life?
