- Meet Pablo Pot Pie!
Looking for a handsome, larger-than-life canine companion? Pablo is a big sweet boy looking for a new bff. He loves being with his person and is a perfect companion for a person who works from home. He’ll just lay on his bed and wait until offered to go outside for potty or a walk.
The vet thinks Pablo is about 8 years old. We aren’t sure of his current weight because we know he has lost some since he came to us. He might be around 75 or 80 pounds. We’ll update as soon as he gets weighed again. He loves going for walks, but he’s really more of an inside dog. He loves to be a couch potato.
Pablo is a chow-hound! He would love nothing more than to eat himself into obesity. In fact, he was very overweight when he came to rescue. In his foster home he is eating measured meals and doing much better. He is also learning some basic boundaries (such as not stealing food from the table, lol).
Pablo gets along well with other dogs, but tries to hump small dogs for some reason. For this reason, he’s probably not a good companion for a home with a small dog.
We aren’t positive, but we don’t think he’ll be a good companion for a home with a cat or small animals. He seems to want to chase them while on a walk. But if you’re looking for a fabulous, loyal four-legged friend, Pablo is probably your guy.
**Please note: Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton, Oregon. The first part of our process is to have you complete our adoption application. This helps us make compatible matches. You can find the application on our indigorescue.org website under the Adoption tab. We’ll get back to you from there. Thank you! -
