male, 7 mths 49 lb and growing
Taco is a spirited 7-month-old pup weighing around 70 lbs. He's ready to
find his forever home with a family that understands the energy and
commitment required for adolescent pups, especially in a high-energy
breed like him.
Taco loves to play with other dogs and enjoys going on long walks to
burn off that youthful energy. Having a securely fenced yard is ideal
for him to explore safely, but supervision is essential since he's still
young and curious, often exploring with his mouth.
This sweet boy is quite well-behaved and picks up new commands quickly.
His food motivation makes training a breeze! Taco is nearly
house-trained with just the occasional accident inside, and he knows
when to "leave it." On a recent outing, his recall was impressive, and
he returned promptly for treats, although he does have a high prey drive
regarding birds. While he was dog neutral during the outing, caution is
advised around small animals or cats due to his excitement.
Taco would thrive in a home with older children, as he can be exuberant
and playful. He's a bundle of joy and affection who loves to nap with
his human after a good run. Taco's charming personality will steal your
heart, and he's ready to be your loyal companion!
BEAR Animal ID: 326136, listed as "American Husky"
male, 7 mths 71 lbs and growing
Bear is a lovable 7-month-old weighing approximately 70 lbs, eager to
find a family that appreciates the work and patience involved in raising
an adolescent pup. With his playful spirit, Bear is always ready for
adventure!
He enjoys playing with other dogs and going on long walks, making a
securely fenced yard a perfect fit for him to expend some of his
abundant energy. Bear is still young and inquisitive, so supervision
during playtime is important.
Bear has shown great promise in training, learning quickly thanks to his
food motivation. He is nearly house-trained, with only occasional
accidents, and is proficient in the command "leave it." During a recent
outing, his recall was fantastic-he returned for treats with no issues,
although he did show a strong prey drive towards birds. He was dog
neutral both on and off-leash, but might be too much for small animals
or cats.
Bear would do well in a home with older children, as his excitement can
sometimes be overwhelming-though it's all in good fun! He's a loving
companion who enjoys snuggling after a day of play.
With his charming personality, Bear is sure to bring joy and laughter
into your home. It will be tough to say goodbye, but we know his perfect
forever family is waiting just for him!
