"JACKIE" pitbull and JAMES BOND" CHIhuahua mix -BUDDIES! Not BONDED)"PROJECT POOCH"

"Project POOCH, quite simply, changes lives. We operate a kennel inside a youth correctional facility and pair currently incarcerated youth with shelter dogs. The youth learn kennel management, positive reinforcement, grooming, and training techniques. The youth learn what it means to be depended on by another living creature and what it means to be trusted and relied upon. And, they learn what unconditional love feels like—sometimes for the first time. Our dogs get trained, loved, and adopted into their forever homes. There is no limit to the amount of time a dog spends in our care, and we are focused on the individual needs of each dog."

"JACqueline and JAMES BOND" AVAILABLE FOR Adoption at "PROJECT POOCH"  (Project Pooch Good Buddies...not a bonded pair)

"JACKIE aka "Jacqueline"  (Probably no cats) Might like a compatible dog

listed as "Pitbull"spayed female, 2 yrs 65 lbs

Jacqueline gets to reimagine herself at POOCH after having had puppies in the past. Now she gets to be the baby, and boy is she enjoying the attention!

Jackie loves people and snacks. She is full of wiggly greetings and will certainly leave a mark on you! (We mean that literally, she’s got QUITE the tail wag on her.

She is doing great with learning her basic cues and walks well on a leash. She enjoys cuddles and naps, and does play with some toys.

Jackie has a bit of separation anxiety so a home where someone is typically around or where there is another dog in the home would be a good fit. She tends to be somewhat dog neutral, but she has shown that she just likes to have a dog buddy around.

"JAMES BOND" neutered male chi mix, 10 mth

Howdy! My name is James and I am your new best friend. My favorite place to be is with you. I will often hang out near my POOCH staff while they’re working, just to be close for spare pets. They often call me a ‘silly little dude’ because of my prancing when I see my friends, and my insistence on belly rubs. You can’t blame a guy for enjoying the best thing in life, a good belly rub. I can be a little vocal, so I am learning how to greet my friends quietly.

I’m learning important life skills including walking on a loose leash and how to sit. I can be a bit of an escape artist, so anyone who adopts me is going to need to pay close attention to my ability to slip through small openings.

I LOVE hanging out with Jackie and we cuddle together on her big bed.

I love to snuggle and enjoy playing with my dog and human friends.

Am I your new best friend?
