Why no interest? She hasn't ever been promoted except a listing on petfinder, so maybe people just don't know she is available? Rue is a cool, unique girl! Maybe she is the one you're looking for.

- Meet Rue!
This sweet girl is some kind of doodle... We saw the DNA on her sister, and it came up 42% Tibetan mastiff, 24% Standard Poodle, 12% Labrador Retriever, 10% Cattle Dog, and 3% Border Collie. The shelter vet estimated her age at two years, and she weighs approximately 65lbs.
Rue came to the county shelter a hot mess. She was filthy, terrified, and had obviously nursed puppies recently. The shelter environment was overwhelmingly scary for her so she didn't really interact with the humans much, but she liked play time with other dogs.
Since getting into a foster home with another doodle dog, Rue has really warmed up. She loves cuddles and affection from her people, and she loves playing with the other dog in her foster home. She plays hard so she needs a very active dog companion. Rue loves to run and play outside. She plays with sticks and toys, and indoors she loves puzzle games.
As you can see from the pictures we posted of her after and then her before pics, Rue looks like a different dog since being bathed and groomed. She feels lots better, too!
Rue doesn’t really like being in a crate, although she can be crated. She has some separation anxiety and will do best in a home where she is not alone very much of the time. She is a very sweet companion so for someone who works from home she'll be great! With patience and continued training she will continue to learn routines and improve in her anxiety about being alone. Because she has almost definitely been walked on a leash before, she is barky when she sees another dog during her walks. This can be deterred by asking her to sit, and 'watch' you while the other dog passes by. As long as she keeps looking at you, she is rewarded with treats.
This is a very smart, sweet girl who came from a terrible start, but we know she is going to blossom into a great dog.
