"HATI" affectionate, *NOOKS on Blanket* smart, nervous KELPIE/GSD mix "OHS- Portland"

Fun fact:  Hati "Nooks" on his blanket to self-sooth.

HATI is having a hard time at the shelter.  He was nervous  with all the strangers going by his kennel, so he is now in a quieter area.  Please ask to meet him! He would love a good shepherd/kelpie loving home soon!

What my friends at OHS say about me:

What my friends at OHS say about me:

  • Treats and time are the way to my heart! Give me some of each and as I get more comfortable my true personality will shine.
  • New things are a little scary to me, but I all I need is time and someone to show me it's okay.
  • I am a full time love-bug and part time cuddle-bug.
  • Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
  • I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
  • I have chronic skin issues which will require long term management. It can be caused by different factors such as fleas, food or environmental factors.
  • I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here.

The type of home I'm looking for:

  • I would prefer to be the only pet in the home.
  • I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things.
  • Click here to sign-up for our Start over Rover class! We will help you set you on the right path to have the best life possible with your new furry friend through training, games, and exercises!
  • I am used to living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you.
