Jack Russel Terrier mix, neutered male, housetrained, 6 yr 20 lbs
ok with Dogs, Cats, older Kids Adoption fee $350
Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Funny, Loves, Playful, Gentle
James,
our 6 year old 20 pound terrier mix, is the perfect side-kick. We know a
lot of dogs with "Main Character" vibes. Not our James. James will
always be auditioning for roles as "best friend" and "friendly neighbor"
and "party guest #3". With easy going vibes through and through, James
is the dog version of Yacht Rock.
Definitely tired of typing this
sentence over and over, but James was found stray and injured. He
sustained a broken pelvis and needed time to heal. James has been with
us for a while now and is doing great. He will always have a little bit
of a hitch in his giddyup, but can do all the same things other dogs can
do.
Friendly, crate, leash and potty trained, James gets an A+
in dog. He loves all other dogs that he meets and would be good with
older kids (we worry little kids may be too rough for his injury). We
have not seen James with cats, but could do a cat test if needed. He is
gently playful and loves a cuddle session as much as he loves
sunbathing.
Besides having a nonunion fracture in his pelvis,
James has loose kneecaps which contribute to his occasional skip when he
walks. He may periodically need an anti-inflammatory after longer play
sessions, so his adopter will need to be prepared to watch his comfort.
James is heartworm negative and current on his flea and heartworm preventatives.
Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins and James the Terrier. Who doesn't have room for more smooth and easy in their life?
