Yorkie, neutered male

Dogs- yes Cats-yes Kids older kids Adoption fee $350
Bramble, our 12 pound 4 year old Yorkie mix, has been hard at work on his profile. He’s compiled a list of his likes: Original 90210 (timeless), Shrek, long romantic walks, cuddling. Bramble claims to be an expert on frolicking in long grass and his biggest brag is that he’s never had a potty accident. Our very good boy Bramble is ready to find his person.
Found stray, the shelter asked us to help as Bramble had several wounds. We aren’t sure how he got them, and Bramble is keeping quiet about it. With time and antibiotics, he’s now back to 100%. Sort of; we did have to neuter Bramble and remove a few rotten teeth, but those bits weren’t doing him any favors anyway.
Bramble is a friendly guy and likes to meet new people. We think he would do just fine with older kids. Bramble has cats in his foster home and he’s learning not to be so forward with them. We also think a dog savvy cat would work for Bramble. He loves dogs, but maybe a little too much. As his testosterone levels wane, we suspect Bramble will be less....amorous. But for now, the humpiness of his interactions may be annoying for some dogs.
Bramble is a big fan of walks. Due to his passion for other animals, he does tend to bark at cats and dogs that he sees. This will take some time and training so Bramble’s adopter should be prepared to have to work on this. A yard for potty breaks and a quieter neighborhood would likely be ideal. Bramble is crate trained, not destructive, and good when left alone (after a few minutes of occasional complaining).
Bramble is heartworm negative and current on his flea and heartworm preventatives. His adoption fee is $350.
