YANA - Boxer Old Dog Haven FB post May 12, 2025
PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME NEEDED:
(in W. Washington state or Portland, OR only)
"Yana" is a boxer, spayed female who weighs 63 pounds, so big for her breed. She is a fairly young senior who unfortunately has a very large spindle cell/soft tissue sarcoma on her side. It isn't operable and will keep growing gradually until it really impedes her mobility. Her lab work is fine except for one thing that MAY (or certainly may not) be very significant and would also shorten her life. She has lived with dogs, cats and kids in the past and loved riding with her person in the truck - the shelter says she's still energetic and very excitable. She's been there for a month already so probably will be pretty wired at first. If you have the heart and right home for this girl, she would be so very glad to join you.
Would you like to help Yana? Give her the forever home with care she needs?
Old Dog Haven pays all vet bills for the dogs we take into our care. We have those who donate to thank for that!
There is a process to apply to become a forever foster. You can read more about that in the link here: https://olddoghaven.org/how-to-help/fostering/
Once you have read through the information, please email us at:
