Puggle, neutered male, housetrained, 5 yr 20 lbs

ok with Dogs, Cats, older Kids   Adoption fee $300

Personality: Affectionate, Brave, Dignified, Friendly, Gentle, Loves, Quiet

Hot Wheels, our 5 year old 20 pound Puggle, lives his life a quarter mile at a time. Okay, maybe an exaggeration - more like 3 blocks at a time. But, it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning is winning. Our little street-racer comes with his own ride and his own triumphant attitude to match.

Hot Wheels was found stray after having been hit by a car. Initially paralyzed in the rear, the shelter asked us to help. Hot Wheels was so beloved by everyone at the shelter that we had to meet him. We diagnosed Hot Wheels with a spinal fracture. It's been weeks and Hot Wheels has made a fantastic recovery. Although he will always have some problems with mobility, he can get around great now and is very comfortable.

Hot Wheels is a fun, easy dog to have around. He loves walks and is great on a leash. On longer walks, he does better with his wheelchair but can take short walks without his wheels. If his people want to be out for the day, Hot Wheels doesn't mind riding in a wagon. Hot Wheels couldn't be friendlier and likes every person and dog he meets. Due to his injury, we think older kids who can be gentle would be best. Hot Wheels has been mostly respectful to the cats in his foster home. He does occasionally want to chase them, but he's not very good at it, and is easily redirected. A dog savvy cat should be fine.

Potty trained, quiet and not destructive, Hot Wheels can be trusted to be left alone
. He is gentle, playful, and loves a long session with a good squeaky. Hot Wheels lives to cuddle and is very affectionate. He does, however, try to launch himself off of furniture, so his adopter should be prepared to help him down.

Hot Wheels had an ear infection when we met him (that is resolved) and has been a little itchy. We aren't sure if this will continue or if Hot Wheels may need some diet changes in the future. We ask that Hot Wheels' future home keep in mind he may have mild allergies that need management.

Hot Wheels is heartworm negative and current on his flea and heartworm preventative.

Hot Wheels always says that it's not about the car. It's about how you drive it. Have room for the world's most winning Puggle?
