About Tuna Melt and Blueberry Smoothie

Tuna Melt (M) and Blueberry Smoothie (F), our 8 week old chihuahua mixes, would like their own homes. Their sister, Ginger Ale, has already been adopted and they would like to get in on that deal. Their own beds? A basket of toys they don't have to share? Eating out of a bowl without a sibling breathing down their necks? Sounds perfect.
Vodka, the mother of the puppies, was found stray. We took her in when the puppies were just a few days old. Vodka is only 12 pounds and we anticipate the puppies to be about the same size when grown. However, there's no telling what kind of dog the father was.
The puppies are very new at being dogs so they really don't know what they're doing. At this age, they are pretty much blank slates. What we can say is that they are funny, playful, adventurous and curious. The puppies have been socialized with many people, other dogs, and a very patient cat.
Tuna Melt and Blueberry Smoothie will be altered by the time of their adoption. They have been dewormed and will be current on their vaccines and preventatives. However, all puppies need vaccines every 3 weeks until they are 16 weeks old, so their adopters should be prepared to make those veterinary appointments right away. Their adoption fee is $500.
All puppies need socialization and training. If you are applying for a puppy, please be prepared for sleepless nights, tiny puncture wounds, turds on the floor and a learning curve. All of the work people put into their puppies will pay off with a happy, well behaved adult dog. Up for the challenge?
