Frank, our 2 year old 20 pound Manchester Terrier, could be a Tetris champion. He manages to perfectly fit into any human created nook. On the couch with folded legs? Frank's behind your knees. Arm out to the side? Frank's in your armpit. Curled up like a shrimp? Frank is happily curled up like a smaller shrimp by your stomach. Much like Tetris, the goal here is to find Frank his perfect fit.

Found stray, Frank was brought to the local shelter. He only had some minor scrapes, but the shelter staff was most concerned about Frank's heart. They heard a loud murmur. We stepped in to help and, thanks to @1510Foundation for covering his care in it's entirety, we were able to get Frank into the cardiologist.

Frank was diagnosed with congenital heart abnormalities known as subvalvular aortic stenosis and mitral valve dysplasia. Sadly, these are not reversible conditions, but they can be managed. The @1510Foundation has sponsored Frank's future cardiology appointments and heart medications, so these will be of no charge to his adopter. Some dogs with Frank's condition can live long happy lives where some die of heart disease young. For this reason, monitoring Frank's heart will be important.

At home, Frank is outrageously friendly. He plays gently, even while wrestling with his housemates. Frank loves walks and is happy to meet any dog: big, small, off leash, on leash, Frank doesn't mind! We have not seen Frank with cats or small kids. Frank is smart, stoic, contemplative and eager to please. He is very nearly house trained but still has the occasional accident. Despite this, his foster family trusts Frank to be left alone for up to 4-5 hours at a time.

Frank is heartworm negative and current on his flea and heartworm preventatives. His adoption fee is $350.
