UPDATE 2/18/25 ADOPTED!
"BUTLER and SCARLET "AVAILABLE FOR Adoption at Oregon Humane Society in Portland
Available 2/12/2025 Animal ID #319570
"Looks like"Cocker Spaniel" neutered male, 13 yrs 7 mths 20 lbs adoption $50
- I may be a mature gentleman, but I have a young spirit!
- I am full of sunshine, happiness, love... and treats!
- I love nothing more than to be held close and snuggled.
- Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
- Resource Guarding: I have a history of guarding my food from other animals.
- I came to OHS with my sister Scarlet #319569.
- I am not for the first time dog owner. Someone very familiar with canine body language is a must for me.
- Escape Artist: I have a history of escaping doors or fences. I will need supervision when outdoors or we can go on adventures together - on leash of course!
- House Training: I have a history of housetraining struggles.
- I have been diagnosed with dental disease which means I may need dental cleanings or extractions in the future.
The type of home I'm looking for:
- I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
- I need to go to an adult only home.
- I am looking for a home to live out my golden years soaking up all the love I can get.
- I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
- I can be picky about my canine companions. Slow introductions and having my own space will be important for me to adjust to a home with resident dogs.
- Loud noises and unpredictable movements can make me uncomfortable, I would do best in a home with calm, older children.
