NELSON Animal ID: 336214  neutered male 4 yrs 58 lbshttps://www.multcopets.org/adoptable/336214

Nelson is a handsome 4-year-old standard poodle with a heart of gold. He arrived at the shelter feeling a bit overwhelmed, but with a little patience and kindness, he quickly blossomed into the playful and affectionate companion he is today. This sweet boy loves to go for walks, chase tennis balls, and shower his human friends with kisses. He's eager to please and already knows "sit," but with his intelligence and love of treats, he's sure to learn many more tricks in his new home. Nelson can be a little hesitant in new situations, but he warms up quickly with gentle encouragement and tasty treats. Because of his quick growing curly coat, Nelson needs an owner committed to keeping him mat-free. This includes brushing 2-3 times per week and professional grooming every 8 weeks or so. Nelson may take a little time to adjust to a new home, so a quiet environment with a patient and understanding family would be ideal. If you're looking for a loving and loyal companion to share your life with, come meet Nelson today!
