Often the dog is listed as pre-select the same day it comes in as a stray

Meet Lucky, a clever and treat-loving pup who is officially ready to
find his forever family! 🐾 While he can be a little cautious with
handling at first, he warms up beautifully with a few gentle pets, a
patient touch, and-most importantly-some tasty snacks. 🍖 Lucky is
incredibly food-motivated and already knows how to "sit," making him an
absolute superstar for positive-reinforcement training and learning new
tricks. Because this smart guy is a bit of an escape artist who managed
to deftly slip his leash to explore, he will do best with a family who
uses a secure harness for walks and adventures. 🐕 Lucky is fully ready
for adoption and can't wait to find a loving, patient home where he can
bond with his new best friends over plenty of treats and affection! 💛
