This pet is in foster, you won't find them at the shelter
My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them:
Greg is a sweet 9-year-old gentleman looking for a calm home to enjoy his golden years. He still has enough energy for a walk around the block or two and walks beautifully on a leash, but his favorite activities are relaxing outside with the wind in his fur and snoozing on a big comfy blanket. He is fine to be left alone as he will take the opportunity to get a short nap in. Although, he definitely likes to be near his human day and night and enjoys companionship. This very good boy is a great eater, knows how to use a dog door, and knows "come" and "lay down." Sitting seems a little uncomfortable for his old body, but he makes up for it with his loving personality. Greg will happily let you know when he'd like some head scratches and affection!I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me, please email caninefoster@southwesthumane.org

Here's what you need to know about me:
I'd like a relaxed home. I wouldn't say I'm "old"... I've just been around for a while. And that's made me appreciate the finer things in life like naps in the sun, looking out windows, and the special joy when you're able to scratch juuuuust the right spot. I like to take it easy at home - I'm not up for lots of activity.
I have some handling sensitivity. That means I have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!
It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.
