6/17/2/26 OLD DOG HAVEN FB POST
Another senior dog has been added to our wait list. Please note, Roxanne is not being posted for adoption. She is in need of an Old Dog Haven home, therefore her location is not included. Once we find a home for Roxanne, we will arrange transport for her.
We hope you will hit your share buttons for this dear senior girl.
PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME NEEDED:
(located in W. Washington state or Portland OR only)
"Roxanne" is a 13 pound, 14 year old spayed Corgi-chihuahua.
buddy; her person is off at work and not able to walk her or let her sit
out in the yard. Reportedly she is a sweet little dog who loves to
cuddle and follow you around, though she sleeps a lot now that she's
gotten older. Besides having a longtime dog buddy, she also lives with
a cat but hasn't been around dogs "out and about" much so gets anxious at first when meeting new ones.
She has kidney disease and has recently been fighting UTIs; she has a mild heart murmur and (of course) dental disease, and may have problems with her lower back. As an Old Dog Haven dog, all of her medical issues will be addressed. Lifetime veterinary care is covered by our organization thanks to all who donate.
Roxanne is lonely, left alone all day - we would love to find her a home with another dog and more company, and good medical care. Might that home be with YOU? If you think you could offer her that, please read through the link below and email us. We do not have an online application to foster; our applications manager will send one once you email her.
Here is where you can read more about forever fostering for Old Dog Haven and how to apply to join our network of homes:
