Hey friend! My name is Theodore and I am super cuddly and sweet!
One thing you should know about me right off the bat is that I am, what my friends like to call, a Tri-Pod. That is their silly way of saying I only have 3 legs. It does not slow me down one bit, and I am still down to go on adventures with you!
I am one smart cookie and know lots of things! I know basic cues such as sit, down, paw (at least I'll TRY to give you my paw HAHA) stay and leave it. I love treats and positive reinforcement. You can use those things to teach me new things and become my best friend of course! I am high energy though and I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.
I have such a silly and outgoing
personality. I love to cuddle and lay with my friends. I think I am a
lap dog even though I am way too big for that now. I love playing with
toys and can show you my favorite ones when we meet! (Hint: The ones
that squeak sure get my attention!) I have a history of resource guarding my people, food, toys and/or bedding from other animals or people.
I lived with another dog in my last home and have had lots of fun
playing with larger dogs here at OHS. I am a big guy and have a rough
and rowdy play style so I need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted. I also need a home without small dogs, cats or other small animals.
Sometimes I don't know my own size and can bump into things, so I need
to go to a home without small children. Older dog-savvy kids are okay
though!
Have I convinced you yet? If I have, I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here. I hope to see you soon!
