The dogs at Clackamas Co shelter have a harder time getting adopted since recent budget cuts closed the shelter on Saturdays.
The longer stays are tough on dogs! Please consider taking some time on a Tues thru Friday 1:00-4:00 pm to visit with one of the adoptable dogs!
Fill out our adoption application. There is a $10 application fee due at the time of submission. Please apply on our website and we will contact you. If you’re applying from out of state to adopt a dog, please note that it is a requirement that you come meet the dog at our facility. Adoptions are available by appointment only. We will call you as soon as your approved adoption application is next in our queue. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we find homes for pets as quickly and efficiently as possible. For more information on the adoption process, call 503-655-8628 or email dogshelter@clackamas.us.

"REESE PUFF" Available for Adoption at "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services"
Shelter ID: 106373 Breed: French Bulldog
spayed female 2 yrs 28 lbs adoption fee $205 ?
Description: Good morning everyone, my name is Reese
Puff and I would like to have breakfast with you. I weigh about 28
pounds and am 2 years old. I'm a very happy dog that would like to
spend a lot of time on the couch watching cartoons while we have
breakfast. I am learning how to walk nicely on a leash but sometimes I
get the zoomies when you least expect it and I take off till I get to
the end of the leash. I love mental enrichment but please be mindful of
how much food I am getting with it. I would like to have a home that has
a fenced in yard so I could run around and be a dog. I have been doing
good with dogs here at the shelter but if you have a dog at home, please
bring them for me to meet. The staff here at the shelter do not know
how I would be with cats, so if you have any please discuss it with the
counselor. So, if you believe you are my forever family, please come
meet me and let's see if we are a match.
1) Reese Puff would do best in a home with kids 9 years +
2) We don't know how Reese Puff will be with cats or small animals,
so be sure to discuss proper introductions with your adoption counselor
if you have small animals living in the house.
3) Reese Puff is a very sociable gal.
4) Reese Puff has been friendly towards the other dogs in the
shelter. If you have another dog in your house we will need to setup a
meet and greet with.
*This site is updated once a day, so please note some dogs may have been adopted during that time.
