"MILTON - loves the attention! sociable adorable teenage Goat

ADOPTED!!!
Jan 2015

Jan 23, 2015 Here's a happy update from Milton's adopters: Hi there, Milton and Jeffrey,  our sheep, have become best buds. Milton loves the goat house, and graciously shares it with Jeffrey when it's raining. They also literally butt heads during breakfast sometimes! We are loving having him as part of our family!

Milton hopes that his recent Fame  (over  18,000 views of his Dancing Videogram ) brings good tidings to MCAS! The  Multnomah County Animal Shelter  has taken great care of him... as they do for all the homeless Multnomah County area Shelter animals that come into their care!

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

I'll always love you MCAS Foster Mom Angela, you made me what I am today ;)
Thanks for taking such good care of me and helping me along the way!
~Milton

I was just a little baby goat in this pic!

Milton is a white and chestnut male Boer Goat. He is approximately 8 months old. He weighs about 47 lbs. His adoption fee is $150 and includes neuter and hoof trim planned for January 15th, 2015. Milton has quite a friendly personality and is a favorite critter at the shelter among both staff and volunteers. Goats are heard animals and Milton would really like a friend or 2 to pal around with. Come to the shelter and meet Milton today!

Here's me being a playful goof, as always!  Laura the photog told me it was a good thing that I was getting neutered tomorrow ;)  I wonder what that means?

I love to dance and play

"MO" gentle, lovable, quiet Pit mix

ADOPTED!!!
Jan 2015

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Shelter

here's my Mcas weblink

I am just a guy looking for a fresh start in a new home. I have a sweet personality that needs a little confidence boosting and some patience from my new owner. I have been easy to work with here at the shelter and I know how to sit when asked! Because my history is unknown, the shelter recommends a home without small kids. I am about 4 years of age and I weigh a healthy 68lbs. Please ask about me today!

Mo had a home who loved him, but they didn't come to get him when they
knew he was at the shelter....because they had some issues with him with their other dog(s)
and apparently didn't know what to do to make things better.
I do wish that would have given the shelter more info on him while he was at the shelter - might have helped to know some of his silly quirks....

"MILLER" awesome tripod Rottie mix

Sometimes you take a dog outside for pics, or walks, and everytime a car pulls up in the parking lot, the dog gets excited,  focuses on it, starts to pull in that direction. You know that the dog is looking for it's owner to come get him, and is saying come on mom/dad, is that you? when are you coming for me?

Miller, a healthy and good natured guy, new to adoption, was getting pics outside today, perking up every time a car pulled into the parking lot.  I had a feeling that Miller just "knew" that his owners would come find him!!  and sure enough....shortly after these photos, they came into the shelter to bring the very happy boy home!  (now, I just hope they get him neutered, to help his desire to wander, and keep an id tag on him if he does get out)

Returned to Owner!
Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

Hello world my name is Miller! I am a handsome, social, and active mature dog who is looking for a fresh start! I arrived at the shelter after a nicely family found me wondering alone. I was playful with their three dogs and enjoyed a spa day. If you haven't already noticed I only have three legs. This hasn't stopped me from enthusiastically exploring everything and even navigating up steps. Are you looking for a guy like me? Please come down to the shelter to introduce yourself! I am around years old and weigh pounds

"LEXIE" oh so Diva! senior Sheltie mix

TRANSFERRED to Animal Aid Rescue!
Jan 2015

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

here's my Mcas weblink
id # 563023

Hello! My shelter friends have affectionately named me Lexie for my adorable face and my diva personality. I would like to start off saying that if you are searching for a first time easy going dog for your companion then I am probably not the gal for you. An experienced adult only adopter who is willing to give me time to build a trusting relationship, who doesn't have a busy household and who is willing to respect my boundaries sounds like a better match for me! If you bring along some hot dog or cheese for a first time meeting, that will definitely sweeten the deal. Are you interested in a special girl like me? I have been at the shelter for over two months and would love a home for the holidays. I am around 12 years old and weigh 15 pounds

"SNOWMAN" (aka Falcore) lively, unique, fun Aussie/pitbull mix

Returned to Owner!

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

here's my Mcas weblink

Hey I got named Snowman 'cause I kind of look like Frosty.
I'm an interesting looking  3 yr old  Aussie/Pitbull mix but other people might have a different idea about what I am. I weigh about 55lbs. And in case you couldn't see from my picture I have one brown eye and one blue. Friendly, active, playful, food motivated kind of says it all about me. I have some itchy spots from those darned fleas so I'd appreciate it if my new owner would use a good quality flea control regularly so I can be comfortable.

"RORY" a really nice boy - mature Chihuahua

ADOPTED!

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

here is my MCAS weblink  ( adoption pending 1/10)

Hi my name is Rory and I am really eager to find my forever home. I was adopted a year ago by a really nice family but they are just too busy for me! They want you to know all sorts of good things about me. Like I love to hang out on the couch with my family then go for a nice walk or visit a calm dog park. At 10 years old I still enjoy a game of fetch. I am tolerant to good with children but lets keep this safe for us all and say families with respectful children at least 6 years old ask about me. Won't you help me settle into my true forever home today?

"CALEB" Best Boy Mutt, a much loved FAV who needs TLC

Jan 9, 2014 YAY!!! TRANSFERRED to PIXIE PROJECT!

Caleb is fabulous! He's a delightful, easy going, gentle, and polite adult. Caleb came into the shelter very very thin (he still is..) and his skin was painful, red with open sores. Caleb is doing better, due to the good care given by the MCAS shelter staff and volunteers, but this sweetie really needs a Foster Home (please inquire) or a good adoption home to thrive.  We love Caleb, and you will too!!!
Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

here's my Mcas weblink

Hello, my name is Caleb! I am a handsome fellow that can't wait to start fresh with a new family! I arrived at the shelter with a good attitude and some itchy skin. My friends here have started me on the road to recovery and they are hoping you find my silly personality just as charming as they do! I know some tricks, I have been affectionate, playful, and still have that get up and go personality. Because of my age and skin issues that may cause some irritation we are asking that any children in my new family be over the age of 8. Please come down and meet me. I am around 7 years old and weigh a lean 50 pounds.

"APRIL" charming mellow Pitmix gal

Jan 9, 2014 yay!! TRANSFERRED to Pixie Project!
thank you :)

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

here's my Mcas weblink

Hello, my name is April! I am here to bring you some cheer this winter with my bright and cheerful personality! I arrived at the shelter in good spirits but with some ouchie ears. My friends have started the treatment for them for the road to recovery! I have been sweet, affectionate, and interested in greeting other dogs. Are you looking for a mature companion to come home to? Please come down and meet me. I am around 4 1/2 years old and weigh 53 pounds

"BELLA" smart, adorable, a bit nervous little mix

ADOPTED!

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

here's my Mcas weblink  (pending adopter 1/11)

Hello, my name is Bella! Have you seen how cute I am? My shelter friends aren't quite sure what my breed mix is but they are hoping you will get to know my personality better and have fun guessing! I arrived at the shelter a little unsure of strangers and with some itchy skin. I would probably do best in a home without young children. With some patience, lots of food, and time I have blossomed into a friendly girl and they have started me on the road to recovery with my skin. Are you interested in traveling down this journey together? Please come down and meet me. I am around 2 years old and weigh 11.4 pounds.

"CINDERELLIE" adorable little Bulldoggie mix

TRANSFERRED to Family Dogs New Life Shelter!
thank you FDNLS!

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

here's my Mcas weblink  link

Hey are you my Prince Charming? Well anyone who adopts me will be my hero. I'm a female American Bulldog mix about 3 years old and 52 lbs., looking for my fairy tale ending. Sadly, I have already been through this once but I wasn't the right match for them. They reported that I need guidance on housetraining, am fearful of men, reactive to other dogs on leash, and chased their cat. The shelter introduced me to another social respectful adult male dog who I solicited play with. I appear to not have had much training and would really like to go to obedience class with my new owner so we can live happily ever after. Are you interested in giving me a second chance by fostering or adopting me? Please email animal.care@multco.us to arrange a meeting

"SOX" a gentle Cocker Spaniel needs a gentle caring home

TRANSFERRED to Pixie Project!
thank you :)

Available for adoption with Multnomah County Animal Services!

here's my Mcas weblink

Hi my name is Sox so pleased to meet you. My world has been turned upside down lately and I am truly ready to find my furrever home. The shelter has been treating me real well, first class vet care working on my ears and I am scheduled for neuter on the 12th. We Cockers are known for our ear issues but a good diet and ongoing care should help me a lot. One of my previous owners wanted you to know that I love car rides, like to play fetch and for the most part a calm guy. I am a wonderful choice for your family; a very friendly guy at around 5 years old and weighing in at 22 lbs.
