"CROUTON" Available for Adoption at "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services"

 Shelter ID: 106589

Breed: Chihuahua - Smooth Coated

neutered male 1 yr  5 lbs adoption fee $210

Description: Crouton is a tiny guy with a BIG personality! This approximately 1-year-old Chihuahua weighs just under 5 pounds, but don't let his small size fool you. He is full of energy, spunk, and plenty of love to share. Crouton absolutely adores people and is eager to make friends with everyone he meets. He walks nicely on a leash and would make a wonderful little adventure buddy, though he could just as easily be a cozy carried companion when those tiny legs need a break. Crouton will thrive with a family who appreciates his fun-loving personality and is ready to help him continue building confidence as he settles into his new home. If you're looking for a pint-sized pup with a huge personality and lots of love to give, Crouton may be your perfect little sidekick!

-Crouton has been a bit shy when meeting other dogs. We feel he could potentially enjoy having a canine companion, but he will need slow, positive introductions and plenty of time to warm up and feel comfortable. To make sure it is a good match, Crouton would love to meet any potential canine siblings prior to adoption.

-Crouton may be able to live happily with children, including younger kids, as long as they are respectful, gentle, and considerate of his needs. Because of his very small size, it will be especially important that children understand how to interact safely with a tiny dog and are always supervised appropriately.

-We are unsure how Crouton is with cats or other small animals. Careful introductions and appropriate supervision are recommended if he will encounter them in his new home. His family should be prepared to give him time to adjust and learn what is expected. Please discuss with your adoption counselor in more detail if you have cats or small animals.
