PERMANENT PERMANENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED: for "OLD DOG HAVEN"(note: all medical expenses paid by rescue)

MARLEY:  neutered male 12 yr 82 lbs

This boy is ready to start the first day of his best life!

Marley needs an Old Dog Haven forever foster home. A forever foster means just that-the dog stays with you forever. As an Old Dog Haven dog, all of Marley's vet bills will be covered by our organization (thanks to donations).

"Marley" is a 12-year-old, neutered male yellow Labrador who weighs 82 pounds. A lovely dog, he's been a hunting dog most of his life -living in a kennel with occasional time in the house (the garage overnight if cold out).
His person has gone to a care facility and the family is very anxious to find him a home; they say he loves to be with people and is "classic lab" - all love, smiles and waggy tail.
As a hunting dog, he's had two bouts of salmon poisoning but more importantly soreness/arthritis in his hind end and back that we will definitely want to treat so he's more comfortable. Stairs won't be easy for him! He's never had lab work done so we can't say how his organs are working.
He's lived with other dogs and is quite social; he's not been around cats, but was raised around kids. He is "OK" on a leash but can pull, and he will bark for attention from people when out in his kennel.
It is time for this guy to be a house dog, part of the family, with all the comforts we can offer and the attention he wants and needs. If you could provide that, please let us know.
