This pet is in foster, you won't find them at the shelter

I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.

My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them:

Cleo is such a good girl!! She is loving, smart and look at that adorable face! This playful girl really loves her toys and she is happy to entertain herself with them while she sprints around the house. Cleo then calms herself by chewing on a good chew stick.

Cleo can be a little shy at first, but she warms up very quickly with treats which she takes them very nicely. She is a curious girl who enjoys a good sniffy walk where she can explore. She does want to chase the bunnies and squirrels but she can be redirected. While Cleo is an active dog, she is also happy to relax and snooze on the couch preferably while she is snuggling with her people. And be prepared to share your bed because she likes to snuggle preferable after she has lifted up and gotten underneath the blankets.

Cleo likes other dogs but she needs a very tolerant and patient doggy friend as she is very energetic with them.

Cleo is a young and energetic and is still learning to keep her feet on the floor. She knows sit and shake and can be a good leash walker but she does want to see other dogs and chase the small animals. She is great in the car - jumps in and sits quietly watching the view. We are working on potty training but she has done really well with consistency and positive reinforcement.

I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me, please email caninefoster@southwesthumane.org
