"CINNAMON" **CUTIE!!** PITBULL PUPPY CLACKAMAS County DOG SERVICES , Oregon(open Tues- Frid)

The dogs at Clackamas Co shelter have a harder time getting adopted since recent budget cuts closed the shelter on Saturdays.

The longer stays are tough on dogs!  Please consider taking some time on a Tues thru Friday 1:00-4:00 pm to visit with one of the adoptable dogs!

Fill out our adoption application. There is a $10 application fee due at the time of submission. Please apply on our website and we will contact you. If you’re applying from out of state to adopt a dog, please note that it is a requirement that you come meet the dog at our facility. Adoptions are available by appointment only. We will call you as soon as your approved adoption application is next in our queue. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we find homes for pets as quickly and efficiently as possible. For more information on the adoption process, call 503-655-8628 or email dogshelter@clackamas.us.

"CINNAMON" Available for Adoption at "CLACKAMAS CO DOG Services"

Shelter ID: 106358 Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier/Mix

spayed female Age: 5 MONTHS  20 lbs and growing adoption fee $210?

Description: Hello everyone, I'm Cinnamon Toast and I am here to give you love and make you smile. I am a female American Pit Bull Terrier and I'm estimated to be about 4 months old. I weigh about 20 pounds, but will get bigger! I'm a very happy puppy, but that also means I need some time and patience. I am learning how to walk nicely on a leash, but sometimes my little puppy brain gets sidetracked and new things distract me; like leaves blowing around on the ground or different smells around me. I would love both mental and physical enrichment to keep my mind busy. Please don't forget that I will need a lot of training and socialization so I can grow to be the best dog ever. If you are interested in me, please fill out an application so we can have a meet. The staff here at the shelter do not know how I would be with cats, so if you have any please discuss it with the counselor. So, if you believe you are my forever family please come meet me and let's see if we are a match.

1) Cinnamon Toast would do best in a home with kids 9 years or older as I am just a puppy and need some extra attention and patience.

2) We don't know how Cinnamon Toast will be with cats or small animals, so be sure to discuss proper introductions with your adoption counselor if you have small animals living in the house.

3) Cinnamon Toast is a very sociable gal! With mental and physical stimulation, she will make for a really great fit for taking her out and about and being your best friend tag-a-long.

4) Cinnamon Toast has been friendly towards the other dogs in the shelter. If you have another dog in your house we will need to setup a meet and greet with them to ensure a good fit.
