Adoption Profile: Meet Scully Status: Available for Adoption Profile: The Observant Student & Adventure Partner Stats: Smart | Energetic | Fully House-Trained A Smart & Social Learner Scully is a bright, high-energy girl currently minoring in "How to Be a Dog."

She is a classic mimic who takes all her cues from the resident dog in her foster home. If her canine mentor stays calm when a squirrel runs by, Scully stays calm too. If they run to the door with a toy to say hello, Scully is right behind them!

Because she relies so much on these social cues, she must go to a home with an existing playful dog to show her the ropes. Adventure Ready If you're looking for a partner for weekly hikes or daily treks, Scully is your girl. She is very well-behaved on a leash and has a true zest for life. She thrives on activity and is best suited for a family that enjoys several walks a day and plenty of weekend excursions.

The Perfect Houseguest Scully has mastered home life! She is 100% house-trained and very reliable on a schedule. Indoors, she is polite and is steadily gaining the confidence to explore new rooms (she recently conquered her shyness about the kitchen!). She has also shown a quiet, polite curiosity toward cats without an urge to chase.

A Work in Progress Scully is still learning the finer points of play. While she wants to join the fun, she can occasionally get overwhelmed. During games like tug-of-war, she may use her voice to let her friends know she needs a break. She needs a patient family and a resilient dog buddy who can help her navigate these "big feelings" as she learns to share.

Ideal Home Match The Buddy System: A home with a playful, confident and respectful dog .
Active Lifestyle: Adopters who enjoy being outdoors and providing mental enrichment.
Patient & Observant: A family that celebrates small wins, like a brave step into a new space. Scully is a smart, soulful girl looking for a leader to follow. Could you and your resident dog be the team she's looking for?
