MCAS needs to spay/neuter all dogs before adoption, especially the females and purebred dogs! Management is failing the dogs and the community, and they have had 6 YEARS to resolve this issue!
They recently adopted out *together* an intact male/female pair of purebred small dogs!! By failing their legal obligation to spay/neuter all adoption animals management has created a MUCH LARGER problem for homeless pets. .....WHAT are they thinking??? They could easily have created a simple, effective offsite medical facility years ago that would only focus on the spay/neutering of the animals.
..but...it's not the dogs' fault, and the dogs need good adopters!
"SAMANTHA" is Available for adoption at Multnomah County Animal Services!
