Meet Lumi, a sensitive and soulful sweetheart who is looking for a
patient home where she can truly bloom. While she may start as a bit of a
"wallflower"-occasionally offering a small growl or retreat when she
feels overwhelmed by new faces-the reward for a slow introduction is a
deeply devoted companion who literally wants to be your right-hand (or
right-shoulder) girl. Lumi is a unique "shoulder dog" who prefers
perching close to your heart over sitting in a lap, making her the
ultimate velcro dog for a quiet, low-traffic household. This social
butterfly is verified cat-friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs,
often inviting them to play once her initial nerves have settled.
Whether she's curiously exploring on a leash with a bit of "zest for
life" or napping peacefully in the car on the way to a new adventure,
Lumi is a polite and gentle soul who manages her house manners well.
Although she is currently on the schedule for her spay surgery, she is
eagerly waiting for a family who understands the "slow and steady"
approach and has a spare shoulder ready for a lifetime of snuggles.
