9-year-old 15-pound Bella seems to be made up of all the things people list as ideal when they are looking for a new canine companion. She is great in the car, wonderful on leash, playful with other dogs and people, cuddly, house-trained, has energy but also loves to be with you on the couch, is fine being left alone for a few hours, and is full of sass. She's also got the cutest little underbite, and thankfully, even after a dental, she got to keep most of her award-winning underbite teeth.

Bella is diabetic and requires insulin shots twice a day and a prescription diet. She doesn't mind the insulin shots at all. Her diabetes is no big deal at all as long as she is kept on a routine feeding and insulin schedule. Her rescuers promise you- she's worth it!

Bella sometimes can be vocal with new people, but she warms up within minutes once she knows you mean her well. She will be demanding cuddles and sitting in your lap in no time. Hi there, I’m Jethro, a brown Doberman Pinscher mix with a big heart. I’m 9 years old, but don’t let that fool you—I still love my walks, exploring the neighborhood, and soaking up attention. I’m polite, well-mannered, and happiest when I’m spending time with my people.

I’m house trained, leash trained, and a pro traveler. Car rides used to be a big part of my life, and I ride quietly like a gentleman. I’ll admit I can get a bit worked up when I see other dogs and may bark or pull on the leash, but once I’m back with my person, I settle right in. Around humans, I’m calm, affectionate, and always ready for a treat.

I spent my whole life alongside my best buddy, Drake. We grew up together, and losing him over the rainbow bridge has been very hard for me. I’m also grieving the loss of my human mom, who passed away earlier this year. I miss them both deeply, but I still have so much love left to give and am ready to form a new bond with someone special.

HADES 8 year old Hades is a sweet and gentle boy who thrives on attention from his humans. Don't let his looks fool you, he may look more like a cattle dog, but he has the personality of a Malamute! Hades is a unique, 55 pound mixed breed boy.

Recently Hades lived in an apartment, but he prefers the quiet country life and is not used to the loud city experiences. He is Ok with several short walks each day, but a nice scenic walk or hike makes him very happy. A car ride with the windows cracked is always a great way to start an adventure.

Hades knows many commands. He knows basic commands like "sit", "down" and "stay". Loving commands he follows are "hug", "kiss" and "cuddle". Fun commands like "dance" and "go through" where he will run through your legs like a tunnel. He has a large vocabulary that you will enjoy playing with him for hours. What a smart boy!!

As a young senior, he still has a lot of puppy energy and does get along with large dogs. He may be fine living with another dog, but would also be happy as the only dog in the house, so that he does not need to share his quality time with his human.
