What our friends at OHS say about us:

  • Hi, I'm Fiona, the tiniest little chihuahua lady! And this is my best friend Bandit. We are bonded and must go home together. Our adoption fee includes both of us!
  • We're looking for the perfect place to spend our golden years.
  • We may be shy at first, but once we get to know each other we will shower you with love!
  • Our life's mission is to keep a spot on your couch warm... and one on your bed too.
  • Fiona is a fiend for food! Snacks are a great way to make friends with her and win your way into her heart.
  • If you have a vacant lap, Bandit would be glad to keep it warm!
  • We love to snuggle under blankets, please provide lots of cozy spots for us!
  • Fiona has a heart murmur that may require long term monitoring.
  • Shy and Nervous: We can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. We prefer to take things at our own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
  • We will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
  • All this change in our lives has been really tough on us, we can't help but be cautious and worried. We're longing for an understanding person, with a warm bed, treats and the willingness to give us time and space to settle in- could that be you?

The type of home we're looking for:

  • We may do best with an owner who has had experience owning or caring for shy and fearful dogs.
  • Loud noises and unpredictable movements can make us uncomfortable, we would do best in a home with calm, older children.
