Meet Ellie, an 8-year-old Boxer/English Bulldog mix, about 40 lbs of calm, steady love. Her foster family can only keep her through the end of December, and she needs a new place to land. Ellie was first passed to us a few months ago after many years of being used as a breeding dog… after being spayed, Ellie wants to live out the rest of her years in peace.
Why Ellie is special
• Loves people, especially kids. She lives with a baby now and is gentle and sweet.
• Low-maintenance and independent. Think cat energy in a dog body.
• House trained, crate trained, leash trained. Comfortable alone up to 6 hours.
• Handles stairs, hops in the car, enjoys walks, snuggles, car rides, and sunbathing
What Ellie needs
• Only pet home. No dogs or cats.
• A safe outdoor space to relax in the sun.
• Someone who wants one loyal, loving companion.
