I have lived with other dogs and I love to play! I have some basic obedience skills but continued training is always a good thing! It is unknown if I get along with cats but my previous adopter stated I ignored the neighborhood cat when the cat came over to visit.

I'm so happy to be in a foster home but I really, really hope I find my forever home soon. I'm house trained, curious but calm with the cat and respectful of the resident dog. If you're looking for a dog that will stay off furniture I'll suggest you look elsewhere. I love to cuddle next to my people and would love nothing more than to be invited into bed with you. "PIPPY - special little Doxie

Pippy is a very special girl seeking a very special home. It’s assumed that Pippy began her life as a puppymill dog. It seems her life experience was limited to a tiny kennel. When Pippy came to the shelter she was extremely fearful of touch, humans and pretty much the entire world. She’s come a long way in her foster home but sadly will never be a “normal” dog. Pippy needs an adult (prefers women to men) only home with no children. Her ideal home would have experience rehabilitating emotionally damaged dogs. Pippy has her share of quirks but she’s also learned that cuddle time is awesome and she’s mastered her house and crate training.
