"PIPPY - special little Doxie

Transferred to a great Placement Partner!

Pippy is a very special girl seeking a very special home. It’s assumed that Pippy began her life as a puppymill dog. It seems her life experience was limited to a tiny kennel. When Pippy came to the shelter she was extremely fearful of touch, humans and pretty much the entire world. She’s come a long way in her foster home but sadly will never be a “normal” dog. Pippy needs an adult (prefers women to men) only home with no children. Her ideal home would have experience rehabilitating emotionally damaged dogs. Pippy has her share of quirks but she’s also learned that cuddle time is awesome and she’s mastered her house and crate training. She’ll be a rewarding project for an owner understanding and accepting of her limitations. To learn more about this special little girl contact the shelter at 503 988-7387 x 25242
