If you’re applying from out of state to adopt a dog, please note that it is a requirement that you come meet the dog at our facility. Adoptions are available by appointment only. We will call you as soon as your approved adoption application is next in our queue. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we find homes for pets as quickly and efficiently as possible.  This 105-pound, approximately 3-year-old German Shepherd mix has so much love to give, and his favorite thing in the world is simply being with people!

Whether you’re heading outside for an adventure or just enjoying some time together, Max wants to be right there by your side. He’s an affectionate, enthusiastic guy who’s ready to take on life with his future family!

He is still learning about the world around him and would love a family who can help him continue to grow and thrive with positive training, plenty of exercise, and fun, structured activities. He’ll also benefit from some guidance and positive experiences when meeting other dogs.
