"TUNDRA" *Foster home* *CALM,QUIET!!*HUSKY MIX* Tri-color*"OHS - PORTLAND"

"TUNDRA"  AVAILABLE FOR Adoption at Oregon Humane Society  in PORTLAND

"TUNDRA"  #359747 neutered male 2 yrs 5 mths 53 lbs 74 lbs $ 50

Looks like:  Siberian Husky, Mix

What my friends at OHS say about me:

  • I have been working with the Behavior and Training team here at OHS for consistency and am looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. You'll need to meet with me multiple times before taking me home.
  • To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
  • Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
  • New things are a little scary to me, but I all I need is time and someone to show me it's okay.
  • I would prefer to live my life similar to that of an indoor cat. Just a chill homebody who doesn't stray farther than the backyard.
  • Low maintenance husky alert! I'm quiet, calm, and just need a backyard to run around in. No walks required!

The type of home I'm looking for:

  • I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
  • I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
  • I must go to a home with a fenced in yard.
  • I would flourish in a quiet, calm environment and a low-traffic home. No busy apartments or dwellings.
  • Loud noises and unpredictable movements can make me uncomfortable, I would do best in a home with calm, older children.
  • I need a home without cats, small dogs or other small animals.

Interested in adopting me?

Animals available for adoption in foster homes need a special questionnaire submitted. From there, we will make an initial appointment for a phone consult to discuss their needs, and then schedule a meet and greet. Appointments are set on a first-come first-served basis in the order that we receive the questionnaires.
