 Hi, I’m Joe! I’m an 12-year-old Shih Tzu weighing about 18 pounds, and I come with a very important requirement: my best friend Moe comes with me! Moe and I have been together our whole lives and are a bonded pair looking for our next home together.

I’m a happy, healthy little guy with a playful side. I especially love my toys, but I’m also an expert couch potato who will happily snuggle just about anywhere, anytime. I love being able to wander outside with my people, and when the harnesses come out, I get VERY excited. It seems pretty clear that little neighborhood strolls were once part of our routine, and I’d love to have them be part of my life again.

I’m housetrained and ride nicely in the car, and know “come,” and “stay.” I’m friendly with other dogs but cats are an unknown since I haven’t had the opportunity to meet any.

I can be a little unsure when I first meet a stranger and honestly, Moe has always been the friendlier of the two of us. I may bark for a bit while I figure out who you are, but once we’re properly introduced, everything is fine. Give me a little time and I’ll soon be following you around. Once you’re my person, I really want to be with you!

Moe and I previously lived with an owner who was home with us much of the time. When his health began to decline, he entrusted us to someone who could help find us a wonderful new home together.

We’d be happiest with someone who is home often and wants two affectionate little companions. A home where we can enjoy the outdoors, take leisurely strolls, snuggle on the couch, and stay together would be just about perfect.

Hi, I’m Moe! I’m an 12-year-old Shih Tzu weighing about 10 pounds, and I’m looking for a forever home with my best buddy, Joe. We’ve been together our whole lives and are a bonded pair, so wherever I go, Joe goes too!

I’m a sweet, old, gentle little guy who loves being close to my people. I’m affectionate, quiet, snuggly, and perfectly happy being a little couch potato. I've been told I am the sweeter one of the pair of us!! I also enjoy spending time outside, and judging by how excited I get when the harnesses come out, I’d probably love getting back to taking little walks with my new family.

I’m housetrained but do need ready access to a backyard since I am older and need to go more frequently! I’m friendly with other dogs but I haven’t been around cats, so we’re not sure what I think of them. I ride nicely in the car and am an easygoing guy when meeting new people.

I do have a heart murmur and take medication for it, but it doesn’t keep me from enjoying my everyday life. I take my medicine well, and a supply will be provided to help get my new family started. Joe and I just had dentals so we are good to go on that too!!
