Meet Aksel, an 11-year-old, 65-pound German Shepherd with a heart of gold and some serious distinguished gentleman energy.
Here’s his résumé:
Housetrained and rarely barks. A respectful king. Great with kids, dogs, cats, and even chickens! Walks beautifully on a leash. Knows commands AND hand signals. Loves short walks, stuffed animals, and quality couch time. Professional shadow. Wherever you go, he goes.
Aksel has spent nearly his entire life with his family, but they’re moving overseas, and the long flight would be too difficult for him.
Now this sweet senior needs someone to give him the soft landing he deserves.
He has a little arthritis, so he’d appreciate some cozy rugs, a quieter home, and a couple of short walks each day. In return? Unconditional love, excellent company, and a forever loyal sidekick.
At 11 years old, Aksel isn’t asking for much. He just wants someone to grow old beside.
Ready to give this good boy his next chapter?
